Old Japanese-style house recycled into restaurant “Wadona”

Restaurant built from a one hundred year old Japanese-style house relocated and renovated. Offers “counter dining,” “open hearth” and “annex.” Enjoy the season’s best delicacies.

  • Open / Dinner 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm (First course serving starts at 5:30 pm / Second course serving start at 7:30 pm, Last order 8:00 pm)
  • Table seat for 4 persons (4 tables), table seat for 6 persons (1 table), counter (10 seats), open hearth (1 room), annex (2 rooms * 6 persons for 1 room)

Private hall “Kogin no yakata”

This private hall is arranged according to your desired style and number of persons for a gathering of family or friends, conference or meeting.
* Available as either a tatami type room or chair and table type room.

After-bath relaxation spot “Subuto no ma”

This after-bath relaxation spot is also popular with local regular customers speaking the Tsugaru dialect and that is unique to IWAKISO.

“Tsugaru shamisen live,” “Experience of koginsashi and akebizuru craftwork demonstrations” etc. IWAKISO offers a variety of experience programs to touch culture, tradition and nature of Tsugaru and make memories (reservations required).
