The Harvest of “Kakayama,”
a Welcome with Delicacies from the Mountains and the Sea
The theme of Iwakiso’s culinary hospitality is “Tsugaru Kakayama Cuisine.”
Mount Iwaki brings blessings of the four seasons and supports the people living in Tsugaru, making it indeed a mother mountain, or locally referred to as “Kakayama.”
Iwakiso offers local seasonal delicacies using not only the rich ingredients from Mount Iwaki, but also local luxury from the mountains and the ocean that surround Aomori Prefecture.
We hope you will enjoy the season through each bite and get energized from the seasonal flavors during your stay.
